A good friend of mine has given permission to publish his photographs, taken during his travels last year in Norther Pakistan.

They are of AP-AUR, a Pakistan Airlines F-27 Friendship, which failed to stop on landing at Chitral Airport (CJL), over ran a drainage ditch, causing serious damage to the fuselage and propellers. 16Jun04

Luckily, there were no fatalities or injuries amongst the 36 on board.

Thanks to Walter Ego.
