Fife. This Cessna A185 is a workhorse, and is in heavy use by the
parachuting club. It bears the names Thunderchild and MARINES on the
cowling.
My
friend Ken Ward, from Chop Gate in North Yorkshire, had this lightning,
XM169, cockpit until recently when it was sold to Highlands Aviation
Museum in Inverness.

The
Jet Provost, XN607 cockpit and the nose section of his Vampire. The
nose cone and cockpit are open to let the aircraft dry out in the
sunshine. The JP was sold to the Highlands Aviation Museum, Inverness.
Went looking for the microlights at Thornhill and found this beauty
of a Gazelle at Moss-side of Boquhapple Farm beside the B822 Road.

Northumberland. This Jodel D120 Paris-Nice is based here. It carries
a "Sand Dancer" badge on the nose. Sand Dancers are the
nick name for people from Sunderland.

Northumberland, a visitor from Strathallan is Cessna 208 Caravan,
N208ST.
A Chinook in stealth mode passes
over my house, having heard it I had enough time to made a cup of
tea, read the paper and get my camera.
Note the vortex clouds off the
tips of two rotors, first time that I have seen this on a helicopter.
