Air Charter Scotland, this aircraft seems to be fitted out with a blind instrument flying hood. The student sits in the cockpit in darkness and flies the aircarft on instruments while the instructor is able to check the students progress in daylight.

Instrument training is usually carried out in a flight simulator.
