I like the colours in this picture. Interesting to see where the
sign for Tayside Aviation used to be, alongside the Scottish Aero
Club sign.

I never tire of watching helicopters, especially R22s.
G-EFGH R22, 1Jul05
This R22 is doing a fine job of balancing on top of a Cessna 150.
The Zenair G-OMEZ provides a bit of colour in the background.
This one is operated by HJS Helicopters from Culter Heliport, Aberdeen.

The G8 Summit brought in three helicopters for surveillance work.
This was the second to arrive.
The doors are open to stop the cockpit turning into an oven.

A regular visitor to Scone is this Swiss Super King Air

The Leuchars based Army Air Corps Gazelles were working hard during
the G8 Summit at Gleneagles. It always amazes me how nice these
helicopters look when they are photographed in full sun light.
XZ349 Gazelle, 1Jul05
The third and final helicopter for the G8 Summit with a more imaginative
colour scheme.

The eye in the sky, MAGIC a RAF Sentry Airborne command post maintaining
station in the skies above northern Perthshire.

There is not much one can to photograph a high flying aircraft
with a 300mm lens. However this is the nightshift clocking off and
heading south.
