Ardjachie Stone

I am indebted to the lady who kindly opened the Tain Museum to show the fragments of two pictish stones inside.

Tucked away between the railings and the museum is the Ardjachie Stone. This is mainly a cup-marked Stone with what looks like a spoked wheel design. There are thirty cup marks or shallow indentations on this stone, the spoked wheel is bisected by an inverted "L."
