Nigg Parish Church
 

Hidden inside the Old Paris church is a gem of a pictish stone, The Nigg Stone. This richly decorated Class 2 stone is adorned with carvings from the bible and part of a pictish beast.

The front of the stone. Two kneeling figures at the top of the stone are thought to be St. Anthony and St. Paul receiving bread from a crow in the Syrian Desert. The back of the stone, with some of the interlaced panels. A pictish beast can just be made out towards the bottom of this piece.
