This memorial stands beside the A90 road to Aberdeen, on the northern outskirts of Dundee.

The inscription on the memorial reads, "1939 - 1945 To the memory of all ranks of the 4th & 5th Dundee & Angus Battalions of the Black Watch who died in the Second World War."
