Glenrothes, 7

G-BVWZ Cherokee 6

The second of the two Cherokee Sixes that visited Glenrothes over the bank Holiday Weekend.

G-BVWZ Cherokee 6, 2May05

A very unusual visitor to Glenrothes.

G-RLFI Ce152

Never noticed a '152 with hub caps before.

G-RLFI Ce152, 9May05

G-EERH Ruschmeyer R90

This is one sexy looking aircraft a German made Ruschmeyer R90-230RG based in Aberdeen. By a strange coincidence it's former German registration was D-EERH.

N171JB Pa28

A regular visitor to Glenrothes is this an American registered Cherokee Warrior based at Kirknewton.

It had to return to Glenrothes because the undercarriage would not retract. It made a safe landing without incident.

G-CDEX Europa

A visitor from the Tees-side area. This is a popular kit built aircraft. A model similar to this was featured in the television programme "A Plane is Born."

G-TFCI Cessna 152

I like this photo, she is showing her age, the cowlings are beginning to stand proud and she looks a bit shabby compared to her sister G-FIFE. She has got character and I like that.

G-TFCI Cessna 152, 15May05

G-BNOF Pa28 Warrio

A "spy" shot of the Tayside Aviation's Warrior being re-sprayed in what I think is Flight Academy Scotlands colours. The cockpit is a Ferranti cockpit simulator of something or other.

This hangar looks like it has been re-opened for aircraft after a long period of use as a factory unit.
