This aircraft crashed on the Hill of Stake, Renfrewshire in the 1930s and is festooned by the names of hillwalkers that have visited the wreck since. It was recovered by a RN Sea King from HMS Gannet and brought to the museum in the 1980s. Just how a name dated 2004 got on it is a mystery best concluded by a court case.
